The 1,000 Year Old Fitness Regime

Ever heard of Tai Chi? Tai Chi is one of the ancient Chinese martial arts, also known as a "soft" martial art. This ancient practice is perfect for relaxation, meditation, and stress relief. The Mayo Clinic's website has this to say about Tai Chi:

"If you're looking for another way to reduce stress, consider tai chi (TIE-chee). Tai chi is sometimes described as "meditation in motion" because it promotes serenity through gentle movements — connecting the mind and body. Originally developed in ancient China for self-defense, tai chi evolved into a graceful form of exercise that's now used for stress reduction and to help with a variety of other health conditions."  (Mayo Clinic Staff)

My normal workouts are Insanity, Insanity Asylym, P90x, P90x2, and our elliptical that we have in the living room. P90x and P90x2 both have yoga DVDs, but I have always been intrigued with Tai Chi. I cannot wait to add Tai Cheng to my workouts. There's a reason you see older folks having tai chi sessions on the beach in the mornings. This is a great form of exercise for those with injuries or bad joints. Plus, I really need to work on my balance and stress levels. Check out the link below and consider Tai Cheng for yourself.  You can order Tai Cheng through my website: www.beachbody.com/cfdshark  :) You can order as of March 22, 2012!! :)
